150% stretch neoprene is used in our high-performance wetsuits. The latest X-FLEX neoprene is 10% lighter, absorbs less water and has a softer, more comfortable feel.
Engineered so that your core body temperature locks in the heat. By wicking away your body moisture the lightweight thermal insulation traps the warm air all around you keeping your core body warm.
Panels are double glued and then butted together followed by stitching that does not penetrate all the way through the limestone neoprene.
Limestone based neoprene is still made from the chloroprene compound, but instead of using petroleum-based ingredients it now uses calcium carbonate from limestone to form chloroprene rubber chips. The elongation, flexibility and insulation characteristics of limestone neoprene is the same or even better than its predecessor petroleum-based neoprene. This makes limestone neoprene one of the most flexible and warm neoprene types out there. Some brands promote Limestone under other fancy names for their so-called more environmentally friendly neoprene, at GUL we like to tell it as it is. GUL has chosen to use limestone neoprene, which still has a higher carbon footprint than natural rubber alternatives, but is currently more flexible and warmer. Please consider this when choosing a limestone wetsuit over our YULEX natural rubber wetsuits.

Two thin strips of liquid neoprene sit on the inner wrist forming the perfect seal between skin and suit minimising flush.
Four-way stretch high-specification knee pannels designed to resist the harshest elements while providing maximum flexion and extension of the knee.
This diagonal zip entry system has a single-sided opening reducing flush. The glide-skin seal and bungee cord/barrel lock keeps more water out. A snap lock ensures that the zip pull stays in place.
